Authentic Word Ministries has five(5) branches to sustain and accomplish its Vision and Mission.
1. Zion Temple Celebration Centers 2. Missions and Evangelization 3. Samaritan Heart 4. Socio-Economic Empowerment and Development 5. Information and Communication
Zion Temple Celebration Centres
These are non denominational revival centers which are planted in every corner of the world according to the Holy Spirit guidance. These centers are not just temporary places of God visitation, but God's resting places. (Psa 123:13-14). These centers are already in existence in Rwanda, Burundi, Congo, Tanzania, Belgium, Danmark, Great Britain, France, and USA.
Zion Temple Celebration Centres
Zion Temple worship centers are revival-driven Churches planted by the Authentic Word Ministries International around the world according to the guidance of the Holy Spirit. This ministry started its Worship Center planting program in 1999 in Kigali. Since then other Zion Temple Worship Centers have been planted respectively: in Arusha (Tanzania), Burundi, Congo, Denmark, London and Brussels and very soon in France. In Rwanda there are also other two Parish Worship Centers: Zion Temple Sonatubes and Zion Temple Gisenyi and shortly a new Parish Worship Center will be opened in the city of Butare. These centres are not just temporary places of God’s visitation, but God's dwelling places. (Psalm 132:13-14). Indeed there is a well-known slogan among Zion Temple members that says: "Zion Temple, the place where God is". Pastors along with the members have committed their lives to put in action this slogan; they pray so this may not be just words but the power from a true and authentic Christian lifestyle. Indeed they have understood that the secret of a successful ministry lies in a committed prayer life. This is why Zion Temple Worship Centers have put in place a continuous prayer chain and watchman prayers."The fire is kept burning on the altar continuously, it does not go out" (Leviticus 6:6)
The vision of Zion Temple Worship Center is the same as the vision of the Authentic Word Ministries International. The vision is to "Prepare the Bride of Christ to meet the Groom!" (Amos 4:12).

Women Arise Network
The vision of the Athentic Word Ministries is to bring together in the unity of the Spirit, women from all nations, all races and all tribes so the power of God can be manifested in that unity. Women Explosion international conferences are one of the ways used for the purpose
Women Arise Network
Since we started the Authentic Word Ministries in Rwanda the Lord told us that the rise of our country, Rwanda, will pass trough women. The Holy Spirit revealed to us that the role of women in this region is of great importance and they are going to be mightily used by God in his service like He used Deborah in her time. This prophecy is being confirmed in our nation; we can affirm that God is acting and will keep on working in our country trough the daughters of the countryFollowing the prophecies we did not sit back but instead we prayed unceasingly for God' s guidance. In 1996, a ministry called "Deborah Company" had been established in Burundi, and in 1999 "Daughters of Zion" had been established in Zion Temple, embracing all women and girls wherever Zion Temple Churches operate.
In April 2003 Daughters of Zion in collaboration with Deborah Company organized in Kigali an international conference called "Women Explosion" from the 14 to the 20th of April 2003. Women from different Christian churches, ministries and organizations attended. The result from that conference was the creation of a christian women network "WOMEN ARISE". This network, which has its headquarters in Kigali is formed by a group of women from different countries and different religious denominations: Congo, Burundi, Uganda, Tanzania, Kenya, Belgium and France.
The main objective of WOMEN ARISE network is to support in prayers different countries suffering from war and other form of discrimination and to work together for the promotion of the christian women.
Members of the network are also members of local churches. This network is a tool, which bring closer christian women and allow them to learn together, share and transfer best practices for their fight against many problems that negatively affect their well being. An evangelical team has been organized for the home care and counseling for members who are infected or affected by the HIV

About Us
The AWM is a Christian ministry that started in 1996 in Kigali , the capital city of Rwanda, with a vision God gave in 1992 for an end time revival movement that will reach every corner of the world, to "Prepare the Bride of Christ for His imminent return." (Amos 4:12)
In August 1999, under the leadership of Apostle Paul Gitwaza, the ministry opened the doors of its first Zion Temple Celebration Center in Kigali, Rwanda. Six years later, Zion Temple Church has grown to be the largest church in Rwanda with a membership of 15000. The ministry has also expanded to other parts of the world, and is now present on three continents: Africa (Rwanda, Burundi, Congo, Tanzania), Europe (Belgium, Denmark, France, UK) and America (USA).
Zion Temple Celebration Center is the spiritual arm of the Authentic Word Ministries with a Vision to become a resting place for God (Psa 132:13-14)“Zion Temple, God’s dwelling place”
Our Mission:
Connect the Person with God and his or her Destiny.
Our Vision for Revival is structured around a three-fold strategy: 1. The restoration of the Altar of Prayer (1 Kings 18:30) 2. The rebuilding of the Tabernacle of David (Acts 15:16) 3. The recovery of the priesthood of the believer (Rev 5:10)
Authentic Business Enterprise is a market place arm of the Authentic Word Ministries with a vision to establish the divine order in the marketplace in this generation.
Our Vision for Economic Development is structured around the establishment of three-key redeeming institutions:1. The Authentic Kingdom University to redeem Knowledge and Techology2. The Authentic Cultural Center to redeem the Culture3. The Authentic Kingdom Bank to redeem the Economy
Our Motto: God's Vision is our Destiny

2007: Year of Deliverance and breakthroughSunday December 31, 2006 - Monday January 1, 2007,ZTCC-Kigali, Rwanda.
The New Year 2007 found the whole fellowship assembly of ZTCC – Kigali in a deep communion with the Lord. The overnight service that started Sunday December 31 on 9pm was full of songs of praise and worship, various testimonies, etc, all praising the Lord of Hosts for He had, once again, ended the year still at the side of His children, comforting, guiding, saving and healing them. The climax of the overnight services reached around 0:30am, when the Apostle Paul Gitwaza, the International President of the AWM and ZTCC, started his powerful preaching. Reading from Luke 13:11-16, he spent 75 minutes praying for the sick, proclaiming both individual and mass deliverance and saying what the Lord plans to do in this year 2007.Addressing the estimated 9,000 people that had gathered for the overnight service (with between 500-1,000 people standing out of the church in the freezing night), the Apostle Paul Gitwaza said that as God is aware that the year 2006 was really tough and hard for many (pain and grieves, joblessness, etc), he proclaimed that the Lord confirmed to His servants that the year 2007 will be a year of blessings, peace and prosperity. In this preaching full of revelation on people personal lives, the apostle stressed that this will be ONLY for those who will follow God’s word night and day. The main expected event in 2007 will be the “Africa Arise” annual conference that will be prophetic for the nation and the whole world, to start on 07/07/2007 and for 7 consecutive days.
2007: Year of "Increase by thousands and ten thousands" with Authentic Word Ministries worldwide (Psalm 144:13)By Leo Mana, Reporting from Atlanta, USA Monday January 01, 2007
The Authentic Word Ministries leadership worldwide ended last year in Holy Communion. This year, the Lord's Supper was scheduled to take place on December 31, 2006 at 11:00 PM Kigali time, shortly before the start of new year all night Celebration service. The partaking of the bread and the blood of the Lord Jesus took place consistent with a Christian tradition which the Lord Jesus started himself. Holy Communion at Zion Temple Celebration Centers takes place regularly, but the AWM leadership insists on partaking the bread and drinking the cup at the end of the year for three reasons:- to mark the Lord Faithfulness during the past year;- to celebrate the blood covenant among the “Authentiques” themselves on one hand, but also between each one and the Lord on the other hand;- and to proclaim the Lord's death until he comes. It is also an opportunity to proclaim the Word from the Lord for the New Year.Participated at this sacred meal all the members of the Board of Pioneers of Authentic Word Ministries based in Kigali- Rwanda, the Leadership of AWM in Arusha-Tanzania, Bujumbura-Burundi, Bukavu-RDCongo, Brussels-Belgium, Coventry-UK, Copenhagen-Denmark, Atlanta-Georgia-USA, South-Bend-Indiana-USA, and Richmond-Virginia-USA. Each Zion Temple Celebration Center also organized their own Lord’s Supper locally, but they all partook of the meal simultaneously, using international conference calls. When supper was ended, the Word of the Lord was proclaimed. 2007 will be the Year of "Increase by thousands and ten thousands" (Psalm 144:13).It is worth mentioning that here in Atlanta, when the congregation was invited to sow a seed for the New Year, a seed of $144.00 was presented to the Lord. An indication for us that we need to take Psalm 144 seriously.

ZTCC – Kigali Asaph International in concert Saturday December 30, 2006
The Asaph choir of the Authentic Word Ministries (AWM) nerve center, the Zion Temple Celebration Center (ZTCC) – Kigali ended the year with a so-much expected and anointed public concert.
The attendance of around 1,000 people that gathered at Amahoro National Stadium, was not at all disappointed, as for 3 hours, all the sections of Asaph Choir lifted the name of the Most High: very much loved hits made the attendance either bow their knees or jump: songs like “urera” and “Nkosi Sikelela” (sangwith well imitated Zulu masks), dances from the Asaph-Ubumwe Culture group, illustrated songs from the Asaph – Drama, etc.
The pearl of the concert was with the still unknown “Asaph – Authentic”, exclusively made of ZTCC pastors. It was led by the Apostle Paul Gitwaza with his talented solistic voice, Pastor Claude Djessa Berger on the keyboard, Pastor Richard Muya on the drums, etc.

Zion Temple Celebration Center - Atlanta Celebrates the New Year with New Vision, By Aurora Muhuza, Reporting from Atlanta, USA Tuesday January 02, 2007
In a much anticipated address, Rev. Leonard Uwiringiyimana, Pastor of Zion Celebration – Atlanta, delivered a visionary message that encompassed an outline of the direction in which the church is headed for the upcoming New Year. Generalizing from Proverbs 11:14, according to which "Where there is no guidance, the nation falls", he made the case that the same is true within the church—which, in a parallel manner—cannot stand if she is lacking in vision and guidance.A new year is always a wonderful opportunity to set up new goals, aim for new objectives, and aspire to new ends. In his message, he pointed out that a new year can be compared to a journey, in which there is a point of departure and a point of destination. Knowing where you are and where you are going helps to determine your path along the way.According to the vision that was given:The destination for the ZTCC-Atlanta by the end of this year is to walk in demonstration of Kingdom power and authority—doing miracles, signs and wonders that the Lord Jesus did, and even more that exceeded those, consistent with the Word of the Lord in John 14:12. These works will be done so that the Father is glorified in the Son.
The departure point was found in Jeremy 1:6, where the Lord God Almighty called Jeremiah to be a prophet for the nations in his tender childhood. When the young prophet opposed to God that he couldn't do the job because he was too young, the Lord rebuked him for confessing that he was a child. Rather, He encouraged him to go wherever He sent him, promising that he will give him words to speak, and go with him to protect and deliver him as needed. Many in the church may feel that we are unqualified for God's Vision for our destiny this year, but Jeremiah was seemingly unqualified as well. And yet, because the Lord was with him, and put words into his mouth to speak and protected him, he became more than qualified for the work he had been called to do.
That same God never changed. He is still the same, and wants to do His work through us—and He will do it.
As to the issue of how we get there, the Word in John 14:12 provides the answer, again. It is three-fold:1. Believe in Jesus: "Truly, truly, if you believe in me, you will do the work I do."2. Whatever you ask in my Name, I will do it!3. To give Glory to my Father, I will do whatever you ask in my Name!
Our Father receives Glory when we complete the job He gave us to do. We will complete this work by being faithful in these three matters:1. "Forceful men" in the church will lay hold of the advancing Kingdom of heaven by choosing one role model from a list such as the one in Hebrews 11, and will strive to emulate him in their personal walk with the Lord, with the purpose of fully walking in his/her steps by the end of the year.2. We will cultivate our Faith in the Lord Jesus, by being consistent in practicing Rom 10:17 and 10:10. “Faith comes by hearing, hearing by the Word of Christ". We will achieve "righteousness" by believing the Word of the Lord in our hearts and "salvation" through the confession of our mouth.3. We will be faithful in tithing not only our money, but more importantly our time, asking to complete our work in the Name of Jesus, and insisting that our Father be glorified through our doing the works of Jesus, even greater works than His.
God, please help us in this, and give us the strength and grace to follow through. Lord, we know that without you, it would be an impossible task; but we ask that your love and mercy abide in us, and give us the resolve, willpower, and ability to do as is Your Will. We love you. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Six years later, Zion Temple Church has grown to be the largest church in Rwanda with a membership of 15000. 2007: Year of Deliverance and breakthroughSunday December 31, 2006 - Monday January 1, 2007,ZTCC-Kigali, Rwanda.

Apostle Paul Gitwaza Preaching in Mulenge
Apostle Paul Gitwaza Pointing to Mulenge's New Direction and Vision Recognizing Pioneer Rev Makombe Recognizing Pioneer Rev KajabikaThe following is a part of the Mulenge trip narrative Report by Mr Daniel Walters from Colorado, USA, a member of Zion Temple Conference delagates to Mulenge. It goes like this: It was a very slow and bumpy ride but we arrived at Kavumu Airport right at 2:00 PM. The plane was already there sitting on the runway – a 14 passenger Russian-made plane – 9Q-CUB. We got out of the vehicles and entered the shack to show our passports and get clearance to depart. At first everything seemed routine. But then all of sudden there was a commotion and another man walked in and out of the shack and stomped off. Everything was now halted. The story was that he wanted an official document describing our mission and noting all the participants, since there were so many from other countries. It was a ridiculous request. We all had our visas which should grant us access to travel inside DR Congo but they were being impossible. Hours passed, and we knew this was not good for the pilot who had rearranged his schedule to accommodate us, and this delay was obviously costing him money. Alexis was not able to help because the officers holding us back were police, and not soldiers.Negotiations went on and on. There was talk of money, in fact there were all kinds of talk, in 3 different languages (Swahili, French, and Lingala), but we were not going to be allowed to fly to the home village of most of our group, even after obtaining visas. Then all of a sudden we were told to walk out onto the tarmac and board the plane. Most of us had boarded but Apostle was not with us. We looked out the window and noticed that he was still at the shack. The pilot was beginning to get anxious. He came aboard from the passenger entrance and greeted us very courteously, and then informed us that as the clock ticked, the door of our opportunity to take off for Mulenge was closing. He said that in 30 minutes he would not be able to take off in time to get us to Mulenge and himself back to Goma. Thirty minutes later he came aboard and said that in another thirty minutes there would not be enough daylight remaining to take us to Mulenge and get him back to Bukavu. Thirty minutes later he came back aboard and told us that he was soon taking off for Goma and would see, assuming we eventually get clearance to fly to Mulenge, if he could fit us into his already full schedule for the next day. Then there was a mad dash to see if the officers would release us to go to Goma, where we were sure we would be released to continue our journey. After 15 minutes we got word we were released to go to Goma. Finally, after 3 hours of negotiating we were leaving Bukavu – going in the wrong direction – but we knew in the Spirit it was right.Arriving at Goma felt so good. We were met by leadership of Zion Temple in Gisenyi and taxied off to Le Nyira Hotel. The streets were amazingly bad, gray and dirty. Just across the wall was Gisenyi in Rwanda, a landscape that we knew to be completely different. We arrived at our hotel and again, just inside the wall was a lush garden of plants, trees and grass. We checked into our rooms, which were old but nice, each with its own bathroom. After getting settled we sat with Apostle's Father for dinner. We hadn't eaten since breakfast and it was now around 6:30 PM.Apostle went out to the patio outside the lobby/dining area, and people started showing up to meet with him. He was beginning to gather and tell about the issue and create a strategy for our release. He was meeting with about 8 people, 5 of whom were military. Alexis was with them, along with Ephraim. The next morning we discovered that Apostle Paul had been meeting with high ranking Congolese military officials who were from the area of Mulenge! That night they developed a strategy and began working it out. August 14, 2008The next morning all issues had been cleared for travel, and the same pilot from the day before was scheduled to take us to Mulenge at 11:00 AM.We had started out on Blessing day (Ex: Tuesday) to get to Mulenge, and now it was Silence Day morning (Thursday), but we were excited to be on our way. It was only a 50 minute flight. We would be there by noon.Everything did go smoothly. Everything was seemingly lining up. We were on our way, flying back south over Lake Kivu and then into the mountains. The flight was quick and our spirits were high. As we approached Mulenge those who knew, pointed it out. And then we were on approach to the landing strip and all of a sudden the pilot made a hard banking turn to the left and was circling the strip to come in at it from the other direction. We came down quickly and we were there. As we were taxiing to a stop we looked out at all the people and snapped some photos. It was amazing – they had had no word from us, and we were two days late and there were still many, many people there on the top of the hill in the middle of nowhere to greet us.We disembarked the plane and were met by hundreds of people, in their best. Most of the men had round-top felt hats on. There were so many hugs. Apostle Paul and his father were swarmed. It was an amazing sight.Eventually everyone was gathered together and Apostle was called upon to address the crowd. He spoke for a few minutes and then we were whisked off across the field to a compound of a few huts several hundred yards away. It was Apostle's cousin's house, and we were seated inside and visitors came by for greetings, hugs, and photos. After an hour or so a Jeep Waggoner arrived to take a number of us off to where we were staying. It had to make several trips to get us all there. It was only about 10 minutes away across hills without paths at times. We arrived at a compound with an L shaped house. It was like two houses butted together. Each had a sitting room and multiple bedrooms, and a bathing area. The sitting room was good size with two small sofas, some chairs and a coffee table. The bedrooms were just a bit bigger than the bed, with no room to walk around in them. Basically you open the door and fall into bed. But it was probably the only house in the village with bedrooms. After getting settled in and having some tea we walked a couple hundred yards to the top of the hill to address all those who had now been waiting for us since Blessing Day including Apostle Paul's brothers, Ruben Kajabika (the Bishop of Zion Temple Burundi) and Pastor Azarias Hakizimana from Zion Temple Kigali, along with the Rutonda assistant pastor from Zion Burundi, Butoto Nahum and Nana, his wife from Bujumbura, Burundi. Now the delegation was complete and the atmosphere was thick with anticipation. A crowd had assembled and we heard one estimate that there were between three and four thousand that first afternoon (the next day the numbers had increased dramatically). Apostle Paul spoke about how the Conference came about. The Lord had begun to speak into him from the passage in Galatians chapter 2, regarding the return of the Apostle Paul of the Bible, to Jerusalem:1. Apostle Paul had received revelation about the situation back home (in Jerusalem) and like Nehemiah, was called to returned to rebuild the walls; 2. Like the apostle Paul of the Bible, Apostle had heard about the trials and tribulations the saints had gone through, and were being sent to comfort them; 3. Like the apostle Paul, he was returning home after 14 years, to testify about the grace that was given him; 4. And the Lord added the time when Mary and Joseph also returned to Jerusalem, looking for Jesus. They couldn't find him anywhere until finally they looked in the Temple. Apostle Paul was called to return to Mulenge to challenge them to return to the Lord Jesus who is not found in denominations, but in His holy Temple, which is His body, the Church! It was a very intimate opening as Apostle's heart was knitted to theirs. Their son had come home, having gone out from them and traveled far, establishing the ministry the Lord had given him in a dozen nations on several continents, and had come home as a prophet sent by the Lord to restore what had been lost in the land where he had his beginning. After the service we walked back down the path to the houses and noticed something unexpected – light in the sitting area! Both houses had a solar panel that during the day charged a large truck battery. And the battery powered a taillight bulb from a car dangling from two wires in the ceiling. So we had a 12v bulb in the ceiling of the sitting room of each dwelling – very nice!We had a nice time of visiting, eating, singing, and then finally planning the agenda of the next day. Around 10:00 or so, a few of us straggled off to bed while the rest continued to enjoy the atmosphere. To be continued... Watch out for Part two

About Minembwe
AKIM, EDITOR
This is the only Newsmedia for the entire population of Mulenge.See www.mulenge.blogspot.com Minembwe is the Capital of Mulenge. Although Mulenge is not a country, but its uniqueness makes it very distinct from other Villages in the DRCongo. Minembwe is unfortunately Not known to many people but I believe it is one of the best remaining place on this planet. It is free of polution, extremely nice weather, green hills, mountains and prairies. Its People are not rich but live relatively better than most of their country men (at least before the war. Mulenge/Minembwe is known as a place where worship songs and evangelistic crusades are the major activities. God's affairs are the centre of people's activities and issues. Religion and culture are intertwined. Minembwe and Mulenge in general is no longer the paradis it used to be, due to war. As a result, people's lives have been damaged, women raped, men and youth killed, HIV/AIDS has now become a reality, and poverty is no longer a strange phenomenon. Minembwe and Mulenge in general is crying for help. Please let's us restore peace to this wonderful place. By Akim http://www.mulenge.blogspot.com View my complete profile
WHERE IS MINEMBWE?
Minembwe is located in Eastern Kivu in the Democratic Republic of Congo. It is located in the upper montains called hauts plateaux and is mainly populated by a unique people called Banyamulenge, Tutsis who have been in the DRC before Africa become divided into countries. Banyamulenge have lived in DRC before that country became what is now known to be Congo (DRC). However, due to political turmoil in the great lakes region, and mostly a lack of proper government in DRC, Banyamulenge people have been persecuted, oppressed and often denied their civil rights for the simple fact that they are Tutsis. This long history of injustice to this historically peaceful people culminated in their uprising in 1996 when they were officially expelled from their country to Rwanda, a country even their grand parents never lived in. In self defense, Banyamulenge took the guns and fought for their survival and bravely overthrew the regime of late president Mobutu with the help of Rwanda and Uganda. Unfortunatey, that came with high price as thousands of theirs were slaughtered and massacre across Congo, then Zaire. After years of fighting for their civil rights and nationality, they finally reached even to the highest political positions from Vice Presidency, senat and members of parlement, not to mention military generals. Minembwe stands now as a territory among many others in Congo although this is still being contested due to jealous and tribal politics. However the beauty of the land, and the resiliency of its people are unquestionably remarkable. Akim M

Akim M
